Wayne L. BOLING Sr.

BOLING, Wayne L., Sr. Wayne Lee Boling, Sr., 78. Formerly of Bristol,CT. went to be with his Lord on December 7,2010. Born in Tennessee, he lived most of his life in Bristol. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Reed Boling. He served his country as an Airborne Ranger during the Korean War and recieved several medals and accomandations including two silver stars and two bronze stars for valor and a purple heart.He was also awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.He retired from the military.He worked in Bristol as a butcher and also had a country band. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons: Jack and Lori Boling of Cairo, NB, James Boling of Fort Myers, FL, Lee Boling of Fort Myers, FL., Reed Boling of Bristol, CT. a daughter, Martha Boling Clemens and Marc Clemens of SC., sisters Pat Revelle of Oregon and Linda McMillin of Oregon. He also leaves 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, King Street Bristol on January 8, 2011 at 11 a.m.
