Dear Mrs. James, I am just finding out about about Wedell's death.
I am incredibly sorry for your loss. Wendell was a dear friend of mine. We traveled to Paris together and hoped to go back to Paris again. Ironically I was on the way to Paris on January 11th. Finding out about Wendell's death comes with great shock and sadness. I would like to contact you if possible. If I could be of help to you I would more than happy to do whatever help you may need. If Gwyneth and Giovanni need a home I would be happy to offer a home to them. If you would be so kind to call me I would be most appreciative.

Dear Mrs. James and family,
I worked with Wendell for many years at Jefferson Home Infusion Service. He was a wonderfully caring pharmacist to all his patient's. He also was very kind to me and my family and he will be truly missed. I was very shocked of his passing and I would have liked to send a more personal note to his mother but I did not know how to reach her. So hopefully this message along with my condolences will get to her.
With sadness,
Lisa and Avery Patrick (and Tyler)

It was with both shock and sadness that I read of Wendell's death. I first met him when I was calling on your pharmacy for Bristol Myers Squibb many years ago. His Paper Moon venture was my favorite place to shop. His home on Main Ave was a delight. It was my pleasure to call Wendell (and Jonathan) my friend. We lost touch when he moved away but he shall forever be a smile in the fabric of my life. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Mrs. James,
I'm thinking of you and the many kindnesses you showed to me, my parents, brothers, and sister while I was growing up on West Elm Street. I clearly remember the birthday parties for Wendell at your house and the treats on Halloween night. Wendell was a kind and intelligent person. I am sorry for your loss.

I went to Willard and West Side with Wendell. We graduated together. I have many fond memories of our years at West Side. We went to Quebec with the French Club. I worked on his committee when he ran for class president, and we and our group gathered together to attend games and parties. We had a lot of fun. He always made us laugh. Wendell was a wonderful person. He will be in my prayers as will his family.
