WILLIAM HAFT

HAFT--William A., aged 92, Born February 3, 1926 - August 13, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Ginsburg). Son of Tillie W. Haft and Harry G. Haft. Devoted brother of Judith Levick, The Late Ann Kreizel (January 12, 1928 - August 10, 2018). He was the uncle of Jill Levick Persico (Alfred), Stephen Levick (Leslie), Thomas Kreizel (Mary Beth), Robert Kreizel (Tam), and Yochanan Kreizel (Miriam). Graduate of Woodmere Academy, served honorably in the Navy during WWII. Followed by graduation at Syracuse University. Member of the ZBT Fraternity in Syracuse. After graduation he was involved in the coat and suit industry. Long term resident of Hewlett Harbor with his late wife, Phyllis for many years. Active with the Five Town's Art Foundation. Service will be held at Boulevard Riverside Chapels in Hewlett on Thursday at 12:30pm, August 16, 2018.
