Pops, I'm so thankful for the friendship that we built with each other. I so appreciate your love, understanding, and acceptance.

I remember you saying that you didn't know if you were ready to retire because you hadn't made a legacy for yourself yet. Pops, oh the many legacies you've created, i.e., the love, morals, acceptance of others that you instilled in each one of us, the value of family, the many students that graduated from your class, the many colleagues you encountered while you were in business...but the most recent colleagues and friendships you established at Angelina College. We all miss you so terribly much...

I wish so much that you were here and healed, but our Lord and Savior needed you home. I know you know this, but know that we are all taking care of Mom. I love you so much Pops, I can't for you to greet me when I join you in heaven. My endless love forever, Linda
