LARDER, Rev. William "Bill" H. Sr., 65, of Crystal River, Fla. The Reverend William "Bill" H. Larder Sr. went to be with His Lord on October 18, 2003. He was preceded in death by his father, William Leslie Larder, August, 1971 and his Loving mother, Mary Alice Larder Hutchinson on February 18, 2003. He was born July 27, 1938 in New Haven, Conn., and moved to Tampa at the age five with his parents. He attended school at Sulphur Springs Primary, Oak Grove, Memorial Jr. High, and Hillsborough High School. In 1954, he joined the United States Air Force. Then in 1956, he married the Love of his Life, Brona F. Miller, who survives him. In 1961, he joined the Tampa Police Dept. and served on Sgt. Ronald Barbers Motorcycle Squad, where he achieved the status of Corporal. In 1971, God called William and Brona into his Ministry. He moved his family to Mt. Vernon, Ohio, to attend Mt. Vernon Bible College. They both graduated with honors and in 1977, continued their education at Ashland Seminar in Ashla nd, Ohio, where he earned two Masters Degrees and his Doctorate Degree in Biblical Language, Christian Counseling, and Bible. He then taught Greek, Hebrew, and Psychology at Mt. Vernon Bible College. He served as Pastor at Brighton Congregational Church, Ashland Foursquare Church and Dennison Foursquare Church, all in Ohio. They then moved back to Florida in 1991. God called him to minister again in 1993 at Crystal River Foursquare Gospel Church, which he has done until his recent illness. He is survived by his Devoted wife of 47 years, Brona M. Larder of Crystal River; three sons, William H. Larder, Jr. and wife Lola Smith Larder of Crystal River, Russell L. Larder of Seattle, Wash., Elwood C. Larder and wife Kathy Larder of Sidney, Ky.; and his Loving daughter, Victoria L. Larder of Tampa. Blessed with two grandchildren, Carla Dian and William " Billy" Larder III of Crystal River. The family requests in lieu of flowers, a memorial be made to Crystal River Foursquare Gospel Church at 1160 N . Dunkenfield Ave., Crystal River, FL 34429. They would like to thank Lifepath Hospice of Tampa, Eagle Buick, Dr. Champ Zabetakis, Christian Center Church of Homosassa, and a Special thank you to his Loyal Congregation at Crystal River Foursquare Gospel Church and the Reverend Gene Colegrove. Service will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at Crystal River Foursquare Gospel Church, with viewing at 6:00 p.m. and service at 7:00 p.m. There will be a service on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Word of Life Foursquare Church in Tampa, FL, 8619 No. 40th St., with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside memorial to follow at Garden of Memories.
