William Seitz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 4, 2023.
William Paul Seitz, 65, a native to Dallas Texas, passed away on the 29th of April 2023. Born in 1957 on the 24th of May to Billy Joe and Sally Lou, he was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Karis Leigh.

After attending John Marshall and Church Hill High, he went on to further his Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Tulsa Community College.

Always a loving and devoted father, known to family and friends as just, Paul; he worked tirelessly throughout the booming expansion of the computer industry. With humble beginnings at FastTax and Susan Crane, he quickly found himself as a team leader in the Network and customer support team at industry giant MCI/WorldCOM. Later in life moving to an independent firm as a private contractor so that he could spend his retirement with family. There was not a problem too daunting nor a challenge too great for ol' Paul.

Whether he was scuba diving near the reefs of the Yucatan or wading through the lazy river of his favorite natural water resort; Paul was always one to take an adventure head on. Given a dirt track or paved circuit, on four wheels or two, he was as comfortable riding behind fast cars and motorcycles as he was repairing them. If it ain't broke don't fix it was hardly his mantra, but don't break what you can't fix are words that he had lived by.

Looking to the heavens, he never let his chin down for an instant. Be it a shower of meteors, an occasional space station or a planetary alignment, no celestial body could escape his curiosity for the night sky. A lesson of wonder and exploration he passed on for many generations to come.
aul was many things to many people, a caring husband, a proud father, and selfless provider. Survived by his wife Amy, daughter Allison, son Austin, granddaughter Kiara Jade, and sister Cassima (Greg) Dean, niece Kayla (Michael) Guinn, great nephew Hayes, and many others of whom he all loved.

Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

My beloved brother, my friend, my coworker and my helper. Paul had a big heart that was solid gold. Always willing to help anyone who needed assistance. He was loving and caring with people and animals. He had a sensitive spirit and penned a beautiful poem the day Challenger exploded.
He was my "little" brother who was 10 inches taller than from when he 12 years old.
Paul you are very much missed.
