WILLIAM WIRLL Obituary
March 17, 1938 – December 19, 2013
Bill passed away peacefully with his family by his side after losing his fight with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Joe and Lizze Wirll; grandson Kurtis Culbert; 4 brothers, John, Art, Frank, Sieg (Dorothy); mother and father in law Robert and Elsie Lockrey and sister-in-law Jan Moerike. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Ruby; son Dennis; daughter Shelley (Jack) Culbert, grandchildren Jesse (Kristy), Alana (Derek); son Darcy (Gayle), grandchildren Lyndon (Sharla), Hope (Dave); son Darwin (Connie), granddaughter Robyn (Kevin), great-grandson Kayne, grandson Logan, great-grandson Jacob. Brother Albert (Sandy) and sisters Mary (Bob) Dann and Irene (Harold) West. Sisters-in-law Doris Wirll, Leona Wirll, Doris Wirll, Ellen Schmidt, Win (Brian) Morton, Kathy Williamson, Lori (Rob) Grainger; brother-in-law Bob (Bobbie) Lockrey; numerous nieces and nephews. Bill, also known as Willie, worked at Reimer Express driving truck until his retirement in 2003. Bill loved dancing and old time music. The family would like to say our thanks to all the nurses and doctors in the Palliative Care unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Donations in his memory can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic or charity of choice. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 – 4th Ave. N., Regina, SK.Arrangements entrusted to:

Aunt Ruby and family, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and with the hard times still to come. I am so glad that I was able to skype with Uncle Bill and you in the fall. When I think of Uncle Bill, his ready smile (smirk), quick wit, practical jokes, and music skill come to mind. I loved to see him sitting on the accordian box when we opened the door coming home from school. Yes,I was always exra noisy in the mornings before you'd leave so that you'd both wake up so I could say hello one more time. Goodbye Uncle Bill.

I remember Bill always had a smile or a quick funny jab. Bill and Ruby would come over to my mom and dad's house to play 3 spot on a Friday or Saturday night and I would always hear his booming laugh. Dad worked with Bill at Reimer and became good friends spending a lot of time together. Always the prankster you had to be aware when he was around.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruby and the kids. Wish we could be there with you.
