Willie Brandon Obituary
Willie Mae Brandon went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 14, 2002, at Akron City Hospital.
Born in Jasper, Ala., she had been a resident of this community for 61 years. She was employed by B.F. Goodrich as a laborer for 42 years. She was a member of An tioch Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Clay Brandon, and children, Henry Brandon, Jerry Brandon, Nancy Brandon, she is survived by daugh ters, Brenda (Donald) Gary, Linda Brandon; son, Garland Brandon; daughter-in-law, Geraldine Bran don, all of Akron, Ohio; 11 grand children, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Chapel, Pastor J. Wayman Butts officiating. Interment Monday, 10 a.m., at Mt. Peace Ceme tery. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 950 Haynes. (Stewart & Calhoun, 330-535-1543.)

Oh, I am going to miss Mrs. Brandon. We had fun together, shopping for clothes and food at Smithies and the Salvation Army. I hope to see her again one day. I pray all of you will look to God for strength because He is a refuge especially in time of sorrow. God Bless and God Keep You.
