Wing Jin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 22, 2025.
Wing Fee Jin of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2024.

Wing was born on August 25, 1950, in Tucson, Arizona, the only child of Kuo Get Jin (father), a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army, and Yook Yip Jin (mother), a hard-working immigrant couple from China.

His family moved to Denver, Colorado, where Wing graduated from George Washington High School in 1969. He then studied electronics at Arapahoe Community College. Later, Wing completed a two-year course with Faith Bible Chapel (1974) and became an ordained minister with the World Ministry Fellowship (1980).

Wing traveled to Hong Kong and worked for a variety of employers, including The Franklin Institute, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, American Express, Tandem Computers, and Dale Carnegie Courses. He was passionate about sales and remained a lifelong student of sales theory.

Wing spent the remainder of his life in the Denver metro area. He loved visiting Clear Creek in Golden and found inspiration in its beauty.

He frequently visited open-mic establishments or busked on Pearle Street. He was an accomplished guitar player and songwriter whose unique style and tunings left a lasting impression on his audience.

Wing had a strong witness of and faith in God and Jesus Christ, even as he struggled with his own difficulties toward the end of his life. His knowledge of scripture and conversations greatly benefited those with whom he shared his faith. Wing was devoted to ministering to others through his music and helping those who struggled with depression and suicide.

Wing is survived by his friends, whose lives he touched and enriched with his music, wisdom, and love. He is loved and greatly missed by them.
