Thank you for being such a kind and accepting person. Everyone felt comfortable with you and that’s hard to come by. Your smile was so inviting and really showed your warmth and friendship.

Zack was truly one of a kind. He was so sweet and hilarious. I will cherish our memories in Qatar together always. Especially him and Finch dancing together in the search pit like a bunch of goons haha or being posted together in general was always a fun time. He would always say something ridiculous and my only comeback was "you're such a baby" that became our joke since day 1. He was always trying to make me laugh because he weirdly always knew when it was needed. Zack was my best friend for 7 months. It was rare to see us without one another while stuck in that place and I value his friendship and always will. After deployment, I remember when he started dating Karissa and he was so happy and I was so excited for him you could tell by the way he spoke about her that they were meant for each other. Then it happened! They got married and had three beautiful little boys together. I can not express the happiness they all brought to one another, it was seen in every photo and video and memory. My heart goes out to his beautiful wife and children and may God bless them and shine his light on them always. Zack, look over your family and find peace knowing they have support from so many of us. Rest easy "Stroup Dog"

I'm so sad to hear of Zach's passing. I knew "Moe" and him while in Germany. Prayers to your family during this very difficult time. If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to reach out. We aren't too far from y'all. I'm sure Charlotte would enjoy visiting her friends!
Prayers and love,
Rachel
