LIMA -- Carol L. Harrison, 69, of Lima passed away at 10:44 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
She was born on December 10, 1955 in San Diego, CA to Richard Ross and Patricia (Ralph) Mayer, who preceded her in death.
On December 28, 2008, she married Wayne R. Harrison II, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2024.
Carol was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and had worked as a machine operator at DTR. She enjoyed camping and cooking and had a green thumb when it came to all of her plants. She loved her dogs Brogan, Briar and Buck. Carol was always the life of the party and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her sons Matthew McGullion of Cridersville, Benjamin Bowers and Austin (Meranda) Bowers both of Wapak; her daughters Heidi (Roger) McGullion of Sidney and Samantha (Denny) Bowers of Lima; her sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her sister Terri Miller of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Brittany Bowers and her sister Kathy LeMaster.
According to her wishes, here will be no visitation or services at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Bridge Hospice, St. Rita's Cancer Center and her nurse advocate Suzie for all their help during this difficult time.
Arrangements were entrusted to Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel.
