Ciera Cunningham Obituary
CIERA CUNNINGHAM
LIMA —Ciera Monee Cunningham, 25, died at about 6:05 a.m. at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born Aug. 14, 1988, in Lima to Tonya D. Cunningham and Ricky Manley. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives in Lima.
Ms. Cunningham was a quiet spirit and a well-liked young lady. She was a 2006 graduate of Lima Senior High School and a participant in the Shiloh MBC Debutante for Christ Cotillion.
Survivors include two stepfathers who helped raise her, Kendall Nance and Stevie Thomas, both of Lima; a brother, Josh Armstead, of Madison, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mercedes Cunningham and Miata Cunningham, both of Lima; six stepsisters; three stepbrothers; her maternal grandparents, Ira and Corinna Cunningham, of Lima; a paternal grandfather, Pastor C.M. Manley, of Lima; a maternal grandmother, Anna Lee Manley; and a niece whom she helped raise, Jakaiya Wilson.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Arnold Manley will officiate with the Rev. Kennedy Dennard eulogizing. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

The Cunningham girls all hold a special place in my heart from the countless weekends we spent together when I was still babysitting you guys. You girls brought me so much joy - it just breaks my heart to hear that Ciera is no longer with us. I know that God always has a plan and that his plan is always for the good - but this one has my heart a bit heavy. I send you all love and peace as you grieve for your sister/daughter.
