Delores Rhoades Obituary
LIMA -- Delores J. Rhoades, age 86 of Lima, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 12:20 a.m. at Cridersville Health Care Center.
She was born August 26, 1937, in Lima, to William and Dortha (Grant) Painter who preceded her in death. On December 27, 1952,4 she married Walter Rhoades who preceded her in death on October 15, 1999.
Survivors include their children: Steven Rhoades of Ada, Jackie (Earl) Morton of Cridersville, Cathy (Bob) Younts of Lima and Cheryl (Ed) Quinn of Cortland, NY, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren: a sister, Shirley (Bill-dec'd) McLaughlin of Lima, sister-in-law, Mary Painter of Lima and sister-in-law, Nancy Eagy of Elida.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Fish, and the following siblings: William (Sharon) Painter, Jack Painter, Dick Painter and Barbara (Dewey) Johnson.
Delores was a homemaker and a member of the former Faith Missionary Church. She enjoyed walking and loving her grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rick Hart to officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Interim Hospice, 3745 Shawnee Rd., Lima, Cridersville Nursing Home Activities Dept. or the charity of the donor's choice.

I am so sorry to hear this. I know Steve from the east end. She was such a lovely woman. Loosing someone is so very hard. Our prayers are with you. We lost my husband mike hinkle just a few months ago. Thank you cathie hinkle. Carrie johnson and Stacie johnson
