WAPAKONETA -- Donna J. Paul age 82, of Wapakoneta passed away 8:18 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at St. Rita's. She was born June 12, 1942, in Central Lake, Michigan to the late William Arthur and Jennie (Hoogewerf) Dennis.
She married E. Allen Paul Jan 1, 1967, and he preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1997.
Donna had her BSN and retired from Piqua Manor, (she had her own meaning for BSN). She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and loved playing the lottery and doing scratch offs. Donna loved to tell jokes and laugh, she said "any day without laughter is a wasted day". She never knew a stranger and truly loved being with her family.
Survivors include daughters: Michelle (Robert) Brown of Cridersville and Samantha (Kevin) Fogt of Chester, VA; grandchildren: Avery Fogt, Colin Fogt and Zachary Brown; siblings: Woodbridge Dennis of Elkhart, IN, Glen Dennis of Indianapolis, IN, Anna Arnold of Manchester, TN and sister-in-law Gloria Dennis and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sibling and in-laws: Jeanine Dennis, Kenneth (Thelma) Dennis, Loraine Dennis, Barbara Dennis, Robert, Donald and Marvin Dennis and William Arnold.
The family will have a private service followed by cremation.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com.
