FINDLAY - Janet L. Zorn, 88, of Findlay and formerly of Arlington, died October 31, 2023, at 5:04 p.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born on August 24, 1935, in Lima to Carl O. and Dallas M. (Smithson) Thompson.
Janet married Ralph L. Zorn on December 21, 1957and he died on December 13, 2010.
There are two children: Robert E. Zorn of Mississippi. and Linda L. (Scott) Estep of Findlay; three grandchildren: Joshua Estep, Samantha (Jon) Hanna, and Ashton (Luke) Rife, and five greatgrandchildren, as well as one sister, Carol Rogers of Lake Havasu , Arizona.
Besides her parents and husband, one sister, Pat Hatem, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Good Hope Lutheran church, Arlington. She retired from the Marathon oil company, Findlay as a secretary.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial in Arlington cemetery and Rev. Steve Ramsey will officiate. Memorials to the Hancock County Heart Association.
The Beach Funeral home, Carey, is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry to hear of Janet's passing. I have many happy childhood memories of my cousins Carol and Janet taking me to the Ohio Theater on Saturdays to watch cartoons.
They taught me to spell Pennsylvania when we crossed the tracks.
