Joseph Hicks Obituary

LIMA -- Joseph Hicks, 63, passed away at 12:08 p.m. on May 14, 2024, at St. Rita's Medical Center

Joseph was born on October 16, 1960, in Lima, Ohio to Jackie and Christina Hicks. On May 22, 1982, he married Dawn Jacobs, who survives in Lima.

Joe was a 1979 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He worked for Shawnee Township Road Department for 22 years. He is preceded in death by; his parents; mother-in-law, Ginger Jacobs; and brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Jacobs

The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024, at St. Gerards Catholic Church. Father John McLoughlin will officiate. Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery, Lima.
