DELPHOS -- Michael J. 'Chicken' Schuerman, age 63, of Delphos, passed away, Saturday, May 3, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born May, 28 1961 to Robert (Sally) Schuerman and Carolee (Johnson) Krietemeyer, both parents survive. On February 14, 2015 Michael married Tracey Hershey and she survives in Delphos.
Michael "Chicken" Schuerman, a proud 1979 graduate of Fort Jennings High School, will be remembered for his infectious laugh, love of life, and the joy he brought to those around him. A skilled brick mason by trade, Michael was just as passionate about his hobbies-especially golf, boating, and cheering on his favorite teams: Notre Dame, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Bengals. He had a deep appreciation for music and treasured the countless good times shared with friends. Above all, his grandchildren brought the brightest smile to his face. His spirit, humor, and love will be deeply missed.
Michael is survived by two children; Amanda (Alex) Maag, of Ft. Jennings, Ryan (Stacie) Schuerman, of Ft. Jennings, and a step daughter, Nicole Lee of Delphos; Eight grandchildren, Ava, Mya, and Grady Maag, Cameron, Emma and Isla Schuerman, and Mackenzie and Morgan Shock; Three brothers Tim 'Poke' (Kathy) Schuerman, of Lima, Greg (Carol) Schuerman, of Delphos, Mark 'Herm' (Trina) Schuerman, of Ft. Jennings; and a sister, Diana 'Di' (David) Ketcham, of Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his step father Paul Krietemeyer.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7th, and from 10:00- 11:00 a.m., Thursday May 8th, at Weber Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8th, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos.
Private family graveside will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

So sorry to learn of Mike´s passing. It´s been many years since I seen him. I remember my cousin as a young boy wearing cowboy boots, playing with his brothers and always laughing.
