Miriam was my 2nd cousin and I can remember going to her baby shower, which was at her Grandmother Rusimel's house. My sympathy goes out to her mother, Catherine Early and to her 2 sisters and brother. Her grandmother and my mother were sisters.

Miriam was good to her students and the Elida staff. She kept an eye on my husband Rob in a friendly, co-worker way during the early years of his cancer journey. She was one of the good ones!

My reflections of Miriam will always make me happy! Having worked with her at Elida, gave me the opportunity to establish a life long friendship and admiration for her. She was knowledgeable, delightful and a woman of God. I missed her after her move to Florida but she will always hold a place in my heart!!
