Nina PAPERMAN Obituary

PAPERMAN, Nina (nee Masik)
September 12, 1917 – October 21, 2014
Loving wife of the late Samuel Paperman, and the late John Keith Whyte. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Robert Whyte and Stacy Sehee Whyte. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Jennifer Wacks and Dr. Ken Wacks; and proud great-grandmother of Zachary, Jacob, Matthew, Lauren and Emily – the "crew"! Nina is also survived by Sam's daughters, Elaine Paperman Woolner and Brenda Paperman Levy. Predeceased by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Abe and Goldie Paperman, Max and Jeannie Paperman, Sally Drymer, Bella Slovsky, Annie Miller, and Sophie Payne. We were honored to have known and loved such a cultured, artistic and vibrant woman. Her strength and determination were unique, while her energy was unlimited. We were proud to call her our Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. May she now eternally rest with the knowledge of how special she was to us. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 ch. de la Forêt. The family will be accepting visitors on Monday from 3 to 5 p.m., and on Tuesday, from 2 to 5 p.m. Contributions in Nina's memory may be made to "Auberge Shalom pour femmes", (514) 731-0833, or to the charity of your choice.
