Phyllis Keener Obituary
COLD WATER - Phyllis E. Rechtine Keener, age 91, of Kinderhook Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 5, 1933, in Cable, Ohio.
Phyllis attended Lima South High School in Lima, Ohio. She married Edward Rechtine on September 11, 1950, in Lima, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2000. Later Phyllis married Lyndall Keener on November 1, 2004, in Coldwater, Michigan, he preceded her in death on September 24, 2018. Phyllis formerly worked at Kohn's Loan Company in Lima, Ohio. Survivors include her children, Pat Wicker of Angola, Indiana, Pam Hullinger of Kinderhook Township, Michigan and Thomas Rechtine of LaGrange, Indiana, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Donna Farst of Coldwater, Michigan. She was also preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Siegenthaler, mother, Esther (Taylor) Siegenthaler Jenkins, daughter, Kathy Lonczkowski, grandson, Thomas Rechtine, Jr, a brother, Robert Bodey and a son-in-law, Bob Wicker. Following her wishes a private family graveside service will be held at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
