NEW CLEVELAND — Robert P. Ellerbrock, 76, died 12:44 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born December 7, 1944 in Leipsic to the late Gilbert and Bernadine (Gerschutz) Ellerbrock. On November 20, 1965, he married Mary L. Maenle. She survives in New Cleveland.
Other survivors include four children: Lois (Dale) Frame of Columbus, Steven P. (Linda) Ellerbrock of Leipsic, Diane (Terry) Repko of Leipsic, and William J. (Kelly) Ellerbrock of Leipsic; two siblings: Judy (Gilbert) Schroeder of Glandorf and Anthony (Shirley) Ellerbrock of Riverview, MI; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Ellerbrock.
Robert retired as a farmer and was a member of the Farm Bureau. He spent his entire life working on his farm and was proud to have it recognized as an Ohio Century Farm. Robert loved to fish and hunt. He was also a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland.
Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Father Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again Monday from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
