Tanya was my first beautician, my grandma took me there almost every week for her appointments and Tanya always done my hair until I was about 15. When I was little, she joked and told me she could never take off her belt cause she would fall apart lol! I was young and gullible and believed her. She was so funny. Her and my grandma were pretty good friends other than being patrons at her beauty shop, and I always loved anytime I got to see her. I will never forget her.

What great memories I have of going with my Mom and hanging with she and Tanya every Saturday morning when I was growing up. Usually Tanya´s mom would bring us Kewpees and we would just talk and laugh, and talk and laugh as Tanya did our hair. Scott I think I saw u once when you were little... but your Mom was always so very proud of you! It sounded always like u were a mini Einstein! And Darryl seems like somehow u often ended up at the beauty shop with us on Saturday mornings.
Tanya used to purposely squirt water in my ear when washing my hair, but I couldn´t get mad because of that great laugh she had I remember thinking what a big heart and "spirit" was in that petite body... and she introduced me to the shag haircut, and if here today she´d laugh at how similar my hair looks today.
She was one of those people that u remember always with a smile because she made u feel like you mattered, and I know if here today she , mom and I would pick up right where we left off.
Sending warm thoughts and prayers for the comfort of great memories and a life well lived. I so enjoyed her
