LIMA — Wesley Bishop Jr. passed away on November 14, 2021, peacefully in his sleep at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Wes was born on November 20, 1975, in Mt Holly, NJ to Christine (Doug) Locke-Dolittle & Marcus Lee Thompson.
Wes graduated from Burlington County High School in New Jersey in 1994 where following graduation he became an Over The Road Truck Driver and later being a tow truck driver. Wes was an avid outdoorsman and loved Hunting & Fishing! Wes spent his past time competing in several hunting dogs competitions with his children and riding his Harley with his wife and special friends, Monica & Phil McNeal and visiting as many haunted houses as he could with his wife, sister and brother-in-law!
Wes married Karen (Reimer) Bishop on November 21, 2006. He is survived by sons, Austin Lee Joseph Reimer of Lakeview, Ohio & Denver Lee Charles Bishop of Lima, Ohio and daughter, Cheyanne Marie Bishop of Lima, Ohio. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Mary Ann Amspaugh and Daniel Amspaugh, both of Lakeview, sisters, Ashley (Rich) Fenimore & Chrissy Bishop, both of New Jersey, brothers, Robert Goulet and Derek Goulet, both of New Jersey, sister-in-law, Rose (BJ) Reimer of Lakeview, OH, nephew, Josh Fenimore of NJ, and nieces, Chloe Fenimore of NJ, and Autumn Miller of Lakeview, OH.
Wes was preceded in death by his uncle, Larry Locke, and his grandma, Anna Locke.
A gathering of remembrance for Wes will be Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, OH 43331.
Memorial contributions may be given to Wes' family c/o Shoffstall Funeral Home.
Services are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home.
