She is also survived by several loving cousins and nieces and nephews. Sue was born on August 24, 1946, in Norwood, Ohio to the late Frank and June Fiorito. Sue originally began her education career as a social studies teacher but was later retrained as a math teacher after starting a family. A majority of her career was spent teaching 8th grade math at St. Bernard/Elmwood Place High School from where she retired in 2006. From 1981-1985 she served as the second woman to ever serve on Norwood City Council. She was a proud member of the Norwood Business and Professional Women's Club (NBPWC) for over 40 years. Sue was one of the most positive people to walk the earth. She shared her infectious cheerfulness with family, friends, students, teachers, and strangers. Sue enjoyed traveling with her family, catching shows at the Aronoff Center for the Arts and the Playhouse in the Park. One of her biggest loves was her house in Norwood which she called "home" for nearly 52 years. So sadden to hear this news. -- still in shock
I knew Sue before becoming a classmate as her parents and my Aunt and Uncle (Jake and Ann Mills) were friends before we were born!
She was always fun to be with and seemed to always have a smile on her face. She never had a bad word to say about anybody and when help was needed anywhere - she was there. I will miss her many stories she shared about day to day activities and she worked so hard to keep our Sts. Peter +Paul class reunions going -great fun.
Indian Mound Cafe -- where we had soooo many gatherings is a great place to have her final gathering.
Would love to come but have other commitments this weekend -- classmates - have a great time gathering and take many pictures to share - my heart will be with you

To the Brewington Family, Sue and I were classmates at Regina, she was always so sweet and funny. What a productive life and legacy. Gone too soon. My sincere condolences to your family and friends...I know there are many.
