Marceline - Michelle Dawn Calvert, age 50 of Marceline, died Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home. Michelle was born in Columbia, Missouri on December 11, 1970 to Clarence "Bill" and Janice (McClellan) Calvert.
She is survived by two daughters, Melody Calvert Hulett (Anthony) of Bucklin, Jasmine Calvert of Springfield, sisters Joan Duey (Jeff) of Marceline, Chery Finney (Jeneil) of Purdin, grandchildren Dillon and Justice Hulett, and nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Duey, Alisha Twerden, Jeremy Brown, Scott Warner, Sasha, Megan and Alec. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Michelle loved her family, especially her 2 daughters and 2 grandbabies. She was the most kind and loving person who never knew a stranger. If she met you once, from then on, she would call you by name and give you a hug. She loved music and crocheting. When her mother passed away, she made afghans for everyone who helped take care of her. She endured a lot in her life and overcame more obstacles that anyone thought she could. Her mother always said she was a miracle child. She always gave more than she ever got back and was always quick to forgive. Her family is heartbroken and will miss her big hugs and hearing "I love you". We hope that when you think of our Michelle, it will make you want to be a better person and say "I love you" just a little bit more and give lots of hugs. We love you Michelle and miss you. Always and forever, your family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2021 at High Hill Church, rural Marceline with burial in High Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, July 22 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Memorials may be made to Delaney Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
