Jeffrey Todd Obituary

The family of Jeffrey Scott Todd announces with great sadness his passing on March 5, 2018, in Sacramento, California.
Jeff was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Dec. 10, 1946, to Arthur Wayne and Georgiana Hutchison Todd of Logan, Ohio.
He was a 1965 graduate of Logan High School, and received his undergraduate degree from Capital University in Columbus, and his M.A. in Community Counseling from Towson State University in Baltimore.
After a long career in human resources, Jeff retired from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996. His passion for writing resulted in his lifelong dream of publishing a book, Uluru Rising.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marsha Zahniser Todd; daughters, Amanda Hadley Todd and Carrie Todd Hunter, from his first wife Gayle Hadley Daniels; his son-in-law, David Owen; granddaughter, Harper Todd Owen; son-in-law, Larry Hunter; granddaughters, Ava Scot and Carolina West Hunter; sister, Charlotte Todd; sister-in-law, Asako Izumi; his devoted dog, Maddie, and not so devoted cats, Samson and Clara.
He will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched. He was never without a smile and a good story. He would appreciate everyone who knew him to raise a glass in remembrance and have a slice of pizza.
Donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated.

He was a kind and gentle man but I remember his wit and humor. His mind was so sharp and his intellect quite brilliant. And Marsha and Jeff together were beautiful. So very sorry. Au Revoir Jeff.
