Richard Fidler Obituary

Richard Lee "Dick" Fidler went to be with the Lord, after a good days work, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
He was born June 24, 1933, in Buchtel, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Agnes Gilian Fidler.
The Lord came first in his life; he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; he was a U.S. Army veteran; he was a former employee of the New Straitsville brick yard, Metalbestos of Logan, Peabody Coal Company and retired from Diamond Power in Lancaster.
He is survived by his wife of over 59 years, Mary Kathryn Stephenson Fidler; son, Richard (Tina) Fidler of St. Paris; daughter, Karen (Max) Brandon of Logan; granddaughter, Andrea Brandon; grandsons, Kyle (Alyssa) Brandon, all of Logan and Clayton Fidler and Kevin Fidler, both of St. Paris; great-granddaughter, Harper Avery Brandon; brothers, Harley (Donna) Fidler and Roger (Shelby) Fidler; sisters, Janet Call and Sharon (Roger) Gillian; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Hayden, Gilberta Graham and infant sister, Virginia Fidler.
Private family services were held. Interment was in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home of Shawnee.
