DARREN J. MIKELIC

Darren J. Mikelic, a lifelong Yonkers resi dent, died on Monday, June 19, 2006 at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was 37 years old. He was born on March 21, 1969 to Melko and Sandra Wright Mikelic in Yonkers, where he was raised and educat ed, graduating from Gorton High School. Mr. Mikelic was a laborer for The Department of Public Works in Hastings on Hudson for over 15 years prior to his death. On October 7, 2000, he married Sherri Eriksen at Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers. Mrs. Mikelic survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife and his mother, Sandra Mikelic of Yonkers, he is also survived by his son, Dillon J. Mikelic of Yonkers and his brother, Michael J. Mikelic of Bronx, NY. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball F.H. on Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, June 24 at 9:30 am.
