Everett Weaver Obituary
Everett L. Weaver Jr. 78, of Sleepy Hollow, NY passed away on Aug. 30, 2017. Everett was born on Oct. 2, 2017 in Tarrytown, NY to the late Everett L. and Katherine (nee Kingston) Weaver. Everett graduated from the Washington Irving High School and was a long time resident of Sleepy Hollow, NY. Everett was known for his love of the New York Giants, Mets and Rangers. He was an avid fisherman and loved to walk around the Tarrytown Lakes and all throughout the Village. Everett proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was store manager of the Tarrytown A&P Supermarket for almost 64 years. Everett is survived by his two caring sisters Maureen Vanginderen of Tarrytown, NY and Doris (Ray) Bintrim of New Freedom, PA. Also survived by his to loving nieces Katherine (Robert) Marx of Elkridge, MA, Lisa Bintrim of Durham, NC his one grand nephew Andrew Marx, his one grand niece Emily Marx as well as his two cherished grandsons Vincent Weaver and Dylan Franco. Everett is predeceased by his daughter Bernadette Franco. A memorial gathering will be held at the Church of the Transfiguration, Tarrytown, NY on Sat. from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Where a funeral mass will take place at 10:30 AM. Interment, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society in his name would be appreciated.

Just learned of a long ago special friend, Eddie (Everett) Weaver who passed away last August. How often I tried to find you over the many years since we first met. You were a great friend, always looking out for me and we had a special bond. Oh, how I wish we could have said "hi" again. I'm glad you had so many loving family members by your side. I'll shed that silent tear, but with a smile, like I remember.
