HARRY STREEP Jr.

Harry Streep Jr., age 93, of 122 Palmers Hill Rd., Stamford, CT, died on July 22nd at his home. He had resided with his wife, the late Mary W. Streep, at this address since 1998. Born in Newark, NJ, he spent his childhood in Newark and Madison, NJ, graduating from Madison High School, followed by attendance at Brown University and Rutgers. While active in business as an executive of Merck and Co., he and his family resided in Madison, Basking Ridge, and Bernardsville, NJ. In 1976, he and his wife retired to Masons Island in Stonington, CT. He is survived by two sons and a daughter: Dana David Streep of New Canaan, CT, Harry Streep III of South Nyack, NY and Mary L. Gummer of Salisbury, CT. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Jonathan H., David Kyle, Charles H., and Carol Ann Streep, Abraham K. and Maud E. Streep, and Henry W., Mary W., Grace J., and Louisa J. Gummer. Graveside Services were privately held in Basking Ridge, NJ.
