James McDougal Obituary
Beloved husband and father, James "Jim" Thomas McDougal passed peacefully on Wednesday April 20, 2016. Jim was born on August 20, 1948 in the Bronx to Arthur and Mary "May" (O'Hara) McDougal Sr. He was a US Army veteran, and retired from the Union as Glazier for 35+ years. A Bronx boy at heart, Jim had a great love for music, baseball, animals, and Formula 1 Racing. Jim and his wife, Madeline were young sweethearts - in love for 45 years.
James is survived by his wife, Madeline McDougal (née Lagana), his four adoring children; James Jr., Patrick, Alena, and Catherine, his brother Arthur (wife Carolyn), his sister Carol Evans, sister-in-law Maria, brothers-in-laws; Gary & Vinnie, and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016; 1pm-6pm at Cargain Funeral Home; 418 US-6, Mahopac NY 10541 (845)628-5655. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on April 25, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. John's the Evangelist Church (Mahopac). Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family asks that you consider becoming a registered organ and blood donor or donations to the Carmel Humane Society are appreciated.
