Joseph Colonel Obituary
Congers - formerly of Chestnut Ridge, passed away on February 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern NY, at the age of 58. He is the son of the late Joseph E. Colonel and the late Gail E. Colonel.
Joe was detailed oriented with a big heart and took the most pleasure in the small things in life. He always took great pride in his work and completed everything with the utmost precision. Some even referred to him as a modern day MacGyver as he was always able to come up with a mechanical solution.
A special thank you goes out to his long time companion (wife) Jeanne Vilbig for the many years of wonderful loving care that kept him with us this long.
Joe is survived by his wife Jeanne Vilbig of Congers, NY, his younger sister Susan Baiocco of Cornwall, NY, his younger brother, Chris Colonel, of St. Petersburg, Fla. and daughter, Melanie Davidson, of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that are saddened to not have had more time with him.
