ROBERT FRANCIS O'CONNOR

Mr. Robert Francis O'Co nnor, 77, a Somers resident for 22 years, died on June 17, 2006. Mr. O'Connor was born on June 21, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harry A. and Catherine Hart O'Co nnor. He was a graduate of Georgetown Prep and Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree. Robert served with the Nation al Air Guard in Wash ington, DC and New York from 1948 to 1950. He was with the 102nd Communication Squadron and the 113th Wing Aircraft Control Squad DC ANG. Mr. O'Connor was Vice President of Sales with Offset Paperback Man ufacturing, Inc. in New York City. Robert will be remem bered for his sense of humor, his love of fami ly, music and dancing and his Irish Heritage. He took great joy in sports especially golf, and his birding and gar dening. Mr. O'Connor was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy. Robert is survived by his wife Sheila Hendricks O'Connor of Somers, and eight chil dren; Robert Jr., (Mary) of Kent Lakes, NY, John (Colleen) of Mojave, CA., Kathleen MacLennan (David) of Parker, CO., Mary Pat Metcalf (Don)of Ashland,KY, Peg Smith (Malcolm) of Columbia, MO., Sheila Jemella (Don) of Ossining, NY, Jean Cooksey (Trey) of Jacksonville, FL and Maureen Roslak (John) of Southold, NY, his three stepchildren Sheila Collier (Colby), Kevin Hendricks, and Maureen Godfrey (Michael): his brother Charles O' Connor of Ossining, NY and his sister Mary Therese Geraci of Pitts burgh, PA and the late Kathleen O'Connor. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and four step grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 21st at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Croton Falls. Interment St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
