Ruby Wilson Obituary
Stony Point - Ruby Wilson of Stony Point, NY passed away on July 13th, with her loving family at her side, she was 92. Ruby was born on February 4, 1962 to Walter and Eva Car in Saskatchewan, Canada. Ruby worked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool before coming to the U.S. She moved to Stony Point where she volunteered with the Lupus Foundation, Trinity Methodist Church in Stony Point, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Ruby is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Carmen Wilson, her two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Heather and husband John Conklin of Rockland; and son, Scott and wife Marianne of Fl. She will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, Brian and Patricia Conklin, Christopher Wilson, Heather and husband Lanny Sheperd, and great grandson Micha.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2-6pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home, located at 73 North Liberty Dr. Stony Point, NY, 10980. A religious service will be held on Monday, July 30th at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at The Frederick W. Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in New Hempstead. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruby Wilson's memory may be made to the Animal Care Center, PO Box 27, Pomona, NY, 10970. And also to the Pearl River Methodist Church, 130 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY.
