Deepest sympathy to the Rispoli family. I was the lucky one to have known him.

April 29, 2013

Vinnie was one of the few guys from the Class of '69 who I never saw hassling fellow students because they had long hair or were otherwise different.

That may not seem like much now, but it is a testament to his humanity.

Truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Vinny,
I consider it a real privilege to have had you as a friend. You brought many smiles to my face through the years and I will always think of you with the fondest of memories. You were one of those special people we don't often get to meet. I moved to Ct. a couple of years ago, and had I known before this morning, I would have come to say a proper goodbye, and to offer my condolences to your family.
Love you, Larry Sorriento

I am so sorry to see this sad news. My memories of Vinnie and his family are warm and wonderful and I'm sure this is a great loss to all who loved him.

Every time I meet an Eagle Scout I think of Vinnie, every time a young man sings in church, I remember Ernie, and my oldest daughter (the oldest of seven children) reminded me so much of Annette in the years of our growing family I often drew great strength and encouragement recalling the Rispoli family and the memories of us, "Tappan Townies". To this day I can't drink a chocolate milk shake from Dairy Queen without recalling the "special orders" Vinnie made for me. Your own memories must be infinitely more numerous and poignant. Again, I know this must be a huge loss and you have my deepest sympathies.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I wish you all the very, very best on your journey to peace.

Sincerely,
Christine Killian Dunham
