We had Tuskies on our list of go-to places in Loudoun County. The big guy was always around, behind the bar or the cashier's location. There was always room for a political activist to rent a charming room downstairs to wine and dine politicians. South Street Under was a great place to pick up selections for that dinner at home you didn't have time to make. Great bread, their olive oil was terrific.
When the time came for Gordon and I to celebrate our 50 year anniversary, we chose downstairs at Tuskies. It was a good celebration and family and friends were generous with there praise of the food.
I have missed Tuskes and the group since we moved to Maine. Lots of restaurants in Wells, but no Tuskies. Kevin, rest in peace, your style, wit and great company are irreplaceable.

We first met Kevin when he came into our automotive shop in Leesburg. He was such a great guy, great sense of humor and definately the jokester. It was always a pleasure when he walked in the door, you never knew what he was going to say, but he would send over the keys and say just fix it !! Our thoughts are with his family and his restaurant family. He will definately be missed in the Town of Leesburg. RIP Kevin!! D&D Automotive Repair

Kevin was a great mentor to me. A good shepherd. I learned so much from him and have taken those lessons and tried to instill them in others. I am thankful for the opportunity to have known and worked with him. My regards to all of the family, both Malone and the whole Tuskies Group team.

Kathy and family, may God give you peace and your hearts be filled with beautiful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Last time I saw you all was at Foxcroft, where he was catching a snooze in the truck. God Bless you all and my heartfelt sympathy on your loss.

We met Kevin in 1987, when we 1st moved to Leesburg. Kevin and I had many interactions together, both business and personal as our sons were in school together. I always admired Kevin as having the "Midas" touch because it seemed that everything he attempted turned to gold. He had the greatest smile and sense of humor. I cannot remember a time when Kevin did not have a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to Kathleen, Aemon, Colin, Evan, Regan and D'Laney.

Kevin Malone, I grew up living behind the Malone's house in Annandale,1st grade to 6th grade. It was always entertaining with Jeanne chasing the boys sometimes if they were misbehaving. I miss Kevin alot and his great restaurants and his funny humor. I always ask Kevin if I move back to Virginia I will work for you.

Love to the entire Malone family.
My memories of Kevin are from precious 4-H and Loudoun County Fair days! I remember Laney telling us how much she loved her Dad and was so happy when the two of them were in his truck together. Evan and Regan were always showing their pride in their Dad and striving to do their best for him. He was their favorite topic.
Kevin was a huge supporter of the 4-H and spent many July hours in the unbelievably hot show barn for the auction. He bid up and bought many animals for himself and restaurants . He always had a happy joke.
His restaurants are phenomenal but he seemed to be an even better Dad!! You will be missed Kevin!

We were so saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. He was such a great guy. We met him when Tuscarora opened in l985. We have frequented Tuscarora over the 38 years even though we moved out of Leesburg. We had many a celebration there. Kevin always made you feel special when you saw him. Tuscarora and Magnolias are both wonderful and obviously his whole staff takes pride in what he created. He had to be so proud and his family must be so proud of their dad. People have worked for Tuscarora a long time, not common in the restaurant business. Its because of Kevin we are sure. We always looked forward to possibly seeing him when we dined at Tuscarora and we did see him more often than not. He will be missed.

When I got started in the business Tuskies was always one of my favorite stops to make because Kevin always had a kind word and was happy to engage in a lively discussion on any subject. His kindness will not be forgotten!

.Kevin was an amazing man. A creative restaurateur, he thrived during the pandemic while other restaurants closed. Competent, friendly and ever a family man, he was also my friend. RIP, Kevin.

When I was five, my mother died, and Kevin very much became like a big brother to me in Annandale.
I, us, we, the Malone family, Kevin's loving friends, and his many associates, our collective heart deeply aches in sadness and grief of his passing as we will all miss him very dearly.
We will fondly remember Kevin's smile, his brilliant quick wit, his laughter, his charm, as well as his unmatched love and compassion for his family and friends.
I toast to Kevin, right hand over my heart, holding a glass of an Irish beverage on high with my left hand, while I recite the following poem of mourning from the Emerald Isle in his honor:
Kevin, may the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
Love you always, cuz. ❤
