Shirika Keith-Franklin Obituary
She was a member of Refuge in Kentucky Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Franklin, Jr.; parents, Bishop Raymond J. and Lady Joan Keith; stepdaughter, Kelsey Liddick; three brothers; Raymond III, Shimar, and Tamron Keith; grandmother, Elizabeth Davis.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at her church, 207 S. Hancock St., with Interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston St.

I STILL want to make you laugh- the laugh that showed all your teeth, mouth wide open, holding your stomach. I am STILL crazy, just the way you liked it. Pastor and Sister Keith...when I heard about your daughter it was such a BIG shock to me. I have been in your shoes more than one time, so I do share your pain. You are heavy on my heart. I am praying much for you and the family. May God give you the strength that you will need to go through this difficult time. Yes you are going to miss Shirika but when you think of her just think of her beautiful smile and the good time you had with her. She is now in a better place.

Shirika...tears begin to fall as I write this...we hadnt seen each other in a while but our kindred spirits and mutual friends always led us back to each other. I still remember when we met at the convention, we just clicked! We instantly became friends and realized how much we had in common...being "PK's", the only & baby girl of the family, the same age etc. We loved you but God loved you more. I thank God you were saved because that makes this easier knowing you are now with our heavenly Father, no more pain, hurt or sorrow. Shirika, my sister my friend, Shirka as what I used to call you. You will be missed so much. I was extremely saddened by the news of Shirika’s passing but encouraged that she knew Christ as her personal Savior.
