I am a childhood friend of Steve's.We lived next door to each other. My maiden name is Coyle. Steve and Sharon and I and sometimes Tony(because he was younger than us)would go outside at night and play campfire.Although most times it had to be through the fence because it was nighttime. But nonetheless, while the stars were out we used a little multicolor lantern that worked(although small) and we thought we were something!! Whenever a plane would fly over,we would pretend that it was an enemy and we would have to find a place to hide.Steve and I would peel "milk duds" and pretend the silkweed was something worthwhile.Sharon and I would make mud pies and when Steve and Tony would pester us we threaten to put the mud on them. Most of the time Steve and Tony got us first.I am going to miss Steve. I know it has been many years since the last time I ran into him,but....you know just knowing that I will not have the chance to run into this childhood friend again, does make me sad. I know that by Steve's passing means that a wife has lost her husband,a child their dad,a mother a son,a grandchild their grandfather, siblings their brother and friends has lost a friend. Now Heaven has gained a son,a brother and a friend. And at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb,a spouse. My sincere thoughts are with all of you.I am so sorry for your lose.My deepest symphathy,Sandie Coyle Preston
