He was the husband of Rita T. (Hall) Boyer, who died April 25, 2004, and to whom he was married for 63 years.
He was born in Lowell, March 3, 1918, son of the late Frank J. and Adele (Beaulieu) Boyer. He was educated in Nashua schools, and graduated from Nashua High School and the former Nashua Business College in 1936.
He was a resident of Nashua for more than 60 years, before relocating to New Port Richey in 1980.
Mr. Boyer was an insurance representative with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for many years. He was a member of the Millionaire Club and the National Association of Life Underwriters.
He was a charter member of St. Christopher Church in Nashua and was active in both the church and school building funds. He had served as an assistant scout master of Troop 253 and was the 1st Explorer Post Advisor for Post 253.
While residing in Florida, Mr. Boyer was a communicant of St. Vincent De Paul Parish in New Port Richey.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald A. Boyer and his fiancée, Donna Panarello of Concord, N.H., and Norman and Rosemarie Boyer of Loudon; two grandsons, Matthew Boyer of Concord, N.H., and Toddy Boyer of Hudson, N.H.; four granddaughters, Lisa Chicko of Windham, Leeann Doherty of Concord, N.H., Tracy Koufos of Loudon, and Melissa Browne of Derry; and nine great-grandchildren.
He also leaves two sisters-in-law, Pauline Kunzler of Windham, and Julie Mailloux of Dracut; four brothers-in-law and their wives, William Luther of Manchester, Arthur and Bertha Hall, Raymond and Theresa Hall, and Armand and Gabriel Hall, all of Lowell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
