Loving mother, grandmother,

and great-grandmother

TYNGSBORO -- Arlene (Jean) (Laskowsky) Porell, age 78, died Thursday evening, December 5th, at the D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy in Lowell.

She was born in Somerville, April 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Arthur and Susan (Trahan) Jean. She was the wife of the late David J. "Chuck" Laskowsky, Sr. and Donald J. Porell. Mrs. Porell lived in Billerica for many years until moving to Florida, and in 2001 she moved to Tyngsboro.

She was employed for many years as a clerk with Turnpike Market in Billerica.

Mrs. Porell is survived by two sons, David Laskowsky and his wife, Karen of Tyngsboro, Matthew Laskowsky and his wife, Vicki of King William, VA; a step-son, John "Jack" Porell and his wife, Lisa of Billerica; a step-daughter, Julie Delillo and her husband, Brian of Melrose; a brother, Arthur Jean of Exeter, NH; a sister, Susan Horan of Newfields, NH; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was the step-mother of the late Donald Porell, and sister of the late Ann Donnelly.

PORELL -- Of Tyngsboro, formerly of Billerica and Florida, December 5, Arlene (Jean) (Laskowsky) Porell. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, 496 Boston Rd., Billerica. Please meet at church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Arrangements under the care of the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Billerica. www.sweeneymemorialfh.com
