LOWELL - F. Kerry (Heslin) Bolan, 57, a resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell, died Thursday evening, Jan. 23, at Tewksbury Hospital following a long illness. She was the wife of Edward J. Bolan, with whom she would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in May.
She was born in Lowell on Oct. 29, 1945, daughter of the late Francis D. and Shirley V. (Miller) Heslin. Mrs. Bolan was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell. She attended school at Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, and graduated from Lowell High School.
Mrs. Bolan was on a leave of absence as a state document clerk for the North Middlesex Register of Deeds at Lowell Superior Courthouse. She was a member of the American of Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees of Massachusetts.
She was also a former member of the Spindle City Garden Club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kaitlyn F. Bolan of Boston; a sister, Kathleen Scalise and her husband Domenic of North Andover; a brother, Francis D. Heslin III and his wife Terese of Westford; three nieces, Kathryn Scalise, Bethany Scalise, and Margaret Heslin; three nephews, David Scalise, F. Daniel Heslin, and Thomas Heslin. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Patricia Hanlon and her husband Robert of Biddeford Pool, Maine; a brother-in-law, Brendan Bolan and his wife Carol of Groton; two aunts, Dorothy McQuaid of Lowell and Madeline Heslin of Woburn.
