Jo Ann Pouliot Obituary

Lowell - Jo Ann M. (Larose) Pouliot, 55, a resident of Lowell's Pawtucketville section who worked at a Chelmsford company, died Friday, March 12, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Paul L. Pouliot Sr.

She was born in Lowell on May 19, 1948, daughter of Cecile (Glaude) Larose of Lowell and the late Robert Larose. She was a former resident of the city's Centralville section.

Prior to her illness, Mrs. Pouliot was a payroll specialist for Brooks-PRI Automation in Chelmsford.

She was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church in Lowell.

Mrs. Pouliot was an avid quilter and was a member of Patchwork Pals of Dracut.

In addition to her husband and mother , she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul L. Pouliot Jr. and his wife Cheryl Pouliot of Lowell; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Colin O'Neill of Lowell; a brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Beverly Larose of Londonderry, N.H.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carmen and Roger Frechette, and Rachel and Paul St. Onge, all of Lowell; a granddaughter, Amy Pouliot. She also leaves her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gail and Roland Pouliot of Lowell, Ronald and Nellie Desjardins of Townsend; many close friends, including Marilyn Palmer and Claire Halligan, both of Dracut; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of Amy Pouliot, who died in 1992.

JoAnn was a special friend and co-worker. She was always their to help and listen to me. JoAnn helped me through a tough time in my life after 911 and going through anxiety and depression.
