DRACUT, MA -- John Carroll, 47, died unexpectedly on February 26, 2016, due to injuries sustained by an accidental fall. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Gardner) Carroll, with whom he spent 14 loving years of marriage.

Born in Drogheda, Ireland on April 5, 1968, he was a son of Josephine (Rowe) and the late Lawrence Carroll. John spent his career working as a carpenter for Cambridge Contracting, a job that he truly took pride in.

In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and watching soccer, or as he called it, "futbol." His most cherished time however, was spending time with wife and children, whom he loved so much.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, whom he truly adored, Conor and Sinead Carroll; six siblings, Linda Carroll and her partner Maria of Fuerteventura, Mary Lennon and her husband Willie, Vera McDonnell and her husband Martin, Brenda Coogan and her husband Johnnie, William "Billy" Carroll and his wife Ann, and Sandra Marley and her husband Anthony, all of Ireland; his mother and father-in-law, Beverly and Myles Gardner of Dracut; sister-in-laws, Beverly Zatowski and her husband Michael of Florida and Kristin Whittemore and her husband Jason of Derry, NH; brother-in-law David Gardner and his wife Laurie also of Derry, NH; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

CARROLL -- Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on THURSDAY, March 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut.
