I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joey's passing, and want to extend my sympathy to Gail and all of the Regan family. I met Joey at Indiana University in 1972, and we have been friends ever since. I feel blessed to have had him in my life, and will forever miss him. Claire Muhm

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing.
Right from the beginning, Joe and I hit it off together. We played singles and doubles around New England with considerable success, for many years.
In the summer of 1965, while I was employed at a tennis club on the Cape, Joe filled in for me for a few months as the pro at the newly opened North Shore Tennis and Squash Club in Salem, MA. He was a lifelong friend.
Ginger and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Regan Family.

I worked with Joe for 20 years at Donahue & Donahue before the firm closed. I started in the mail room and worked my way up and through law school and Joe always encouraged me. I learned so much from him as a lawyer. He never made me feel stupid (even though I had no idea what I was doing at the beginning) and he was always so patient and kind. I'm forever grateful and I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to Gail and the entire Regan family. Joe was my dear friend and mentor for over 40 years. He was one of the most intelligent, dedicated, and hard-working attorneys a client could hope for.
I assisted Joe as an investigator as he prepared cases for trial. It was not uncommon for me to meet with him at 8, 9, or 10 o'clock at night to review witness statements and key evidence. Joe taught me as Richard Donahue often said, " the harder I work, the luckier I get." There is no truer statement to succeed in life.
In 1979, coming from the housing projects and having no family Joe, along with Richard and Joseph Donahue, took me in and provided me the opportunity to work closely with the Donahue and Donahue law firm. Through their example of preparation, diligence, and hard work I was motivated to attend law school and to be admitted by
examination to the State Bar in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Florida.
It is because of Joseph Regan that I am where I am today. My best memory of Joe will always be the honor of having him refer cases to me down in Florida and to work along his side as a fellow attorney. Knowing Joe not only made me a better attorney; more importantly it made me a better person. I will miss our long telephone conversations.
Thank you Joe. Rest in peace. God bless.

So sad to see of Joe's passing. My family and the Regans were lifelong friends and neighbors. As a young girl growing up I spent a lot of time watching Joe play tennis in the local tournaments. He was a great competitor and player.
My deepest sympathy to the Regan family.
Sincerely.

I am so saddened to read of Joe's passing.
I worked for him 30 years ago when I was a very young legal secretary. He was so kind to me, mentored me and gave me confidence, not only as a secretary, but as a person. I still think of him often and am very sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathy to the Regan family! Joe was a life long friend and was so helpful over the years with His professional expertise in helping my business through some very difficult times! I could always count on Joe. As kids always tried to get him to play baseball but He was glued to the tennis courts. Him and John Foley morning till night perfecting their game. Later in my life in my 30's I started playing tennis and fell in love with the game and turned to Joe for some lessons, which got me started in the right direction! Then became good friends with his Dad and played a lot of tennis with Joe senior, I learned so much from him about how to win and find others weakness! That enabled me to win quite a few singles and doubles tournaments in the local area and in N.H. I love the Regan family having grown up with them as life long neighbors. I will miss my friend who I could always call when I had a problem! Rest in peace my Fiend you are in my prayer Joe!
