Michael Carroll Obituary

Dracut

Michael P. "Mikey" Carroll II, a life-long resident of Dracut died unexpectedly Friday, December 3, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Michael, age 25, was born in Lowell on November 4, 1996, and was a son of Kelley A. (Johnston) Byam and her husband Gregg of Dracut and Michael P. Carroll of Tyngsboro. He received his education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School, class of 2014.

Michael served his country in the United States Navy and worked in construction for several years.

Mikey had a true sense for style, whether it was clothes, jewelry, or his extensive shoe collection he was forever passionate for being fashion forward. In addition to this passion, his inherent good looks made him a natural for modeling and acting, which he did on occasion. He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved both the Marvel and DC Universe. He also enjoyed traveling and had a thirst to discover new places and cultures.

His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his adoring family and friends. His charisma was unmatched to which others naturally gravitated to him. Mikey emanated love and acceptance. He had a special way of making all feel welcomed, especially when he initiated one of his signature hugs.

Along side to his parents, Michael is survived and will be deeply missed by his sisters and brother, Charis Carroll, Olivia Blake, and Zach Byam, all of Dracut; his girlfriend, Jenna Duchesne of Lowell; his grandparents, Cynthia Johnston of West Paris, ME, Linda Carroll of Bethel, ME and Steven and Gail Byam of Dracut; his aunts and uncles, Sheila Johnston of Manchester, NH, Michelle Johnston of Groton, Joseph Johnston of Lowell, Keith Johnston and his wife Taran of Manchester, NH, Pastor James Carroll and his wife Sallie of Lockeport, NY and Pamela Holt and husband Scott of Bethel, ME; many friends including Mikey Tremblay of Westford, Jenna Enwright, Tiffany Morris, and Dylan Estevao all of Dracut and many cousins.

He was also the grandson of the late Bernard Johnston and the late Stanley Carroll.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10AM at St. Michael Church in Lowell. Burial will be private.
