Walter Walkowicz Obituary

Walter Walkowicz of Woburn, formerly of Lowell WOBURN WALKOWICZ, WALTER M. "NICK" - of Woburn, formerly of Lowell, suddenly, Feb. 16th. Beloved husband of Diane E. (DiStasio) Walkowicz. Devoted brother of Patricia Haney and her husband Michael of AZ and William Walkowicz of ME. Dear son-in-law of George DiStasio of Woburn, and brother-in-law of Alice Walkowicz of Lowell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and his dear longtime friend, Paul E. Kazalski of Dracut. WALKOWICZ Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in Nick's memory to the Polish-American Veterans Scholarship Fund, 201 Colburn St., Lowell, MA 01852, Attn: Paul Kazalski. Di ane, So sorry to hear about Nick's passing. I know this won't be easy but you'll have plenty of support. Your family, your friends, and your PAV family are with you, Some in person, some in thought, and most in prayer. Too bad the Honor guard isn't active.

Diane and family:

I was saddened to hear of Nick's passing. He was a wonderful man. Jack loved him dearly. Nick always treated me as part of the "PAV" family and made me feel very comfortable and welcome there. I know you will miss him dearly and my heart goes out to you. You and your family are in my prayers.
