Bruce Morse Obituary
Bruce F. Morse, age 96, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on Feb. 11, 2026.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Biamont) Morse. They were married for 66 years before her passing away on Oct. 6, 2016.
Bruce was born on May 24, 1929, to the late Edward B. and Zuma C. (Butts) Morse. He also had five brothers and three sisters that preceded his death.
Bruce has two children, Sue (Christopher Prohl) Morse and Norma Sellers; three grandchildren, Shannon (Danny) Mikell, Carla Mills and Stephanie (Jonathan) Miller; and four great-grandchildren, Corrine Kelly, Jack Mikell, Joshua Miller and James Miller.
Bruce was a proud veteran, who served in the Army in World War II, as a paratrooper. He retired from U.S. Steel of Gary Works in Gary, Indiana, in 1985. His passions were hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
