It is with deep love and sorrow that we mourn the passing of Carol Ann See of Michigan City, who left us on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at 3:16 a.m., at the age of 71, after bravely battling cancer.
Born on Feb. 6, 1953, in Blue Island, Illinois, Carol was the youngest daughter in the Watson family, born to Melvin and Luella (Foltz) Watson.
She is survived by her sisters, Melba, Charlene, Loretta and Linda, who continue to cherish their family legacy.
Inspired by her mother, Carol developed a passion for crafts that led to decades of quilting and sewing projects.
On March 24, 1974, Carol married Grant See, who survives her and will forever honor her memory, alongside their children, Anna and Rodney.
A devoted follower of Jehovah and his teachings as a member of the Michigan City Central Congregation Jehovah's Witnesses, Carol was known for her altruism, compassion and kindness. As a nurturing mother, she encouraged creativity, love, and joy in her home. Her grandchildren-McKenna See, Abigail Luella, and Elizabeth Landers-will carry forward her legacy, cherishing fond memories of laughter, card games, scrapbooking, watching "tear-jerker" films, and completing summer reading assignments together. Carol's love for art will continue to inspire generations to come.
In a testament to her strength, Carol had the joy of meeting her newborn great-granddaughter, Era See, just days before her passing. Her resilience, commitment and spirit will serve as a lasting example for all who follow.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, 219-362-3100.

Grant and Family,
May you all feel Jehovah's comfort and love at this time - be it through sharing memories, looking through old photos of good times, receiving a hug from a friend, having someone just listen etc. May Jehovah strengthen you and help you endure so you can see her in Paradise.
