Cecelia Love-O'Brien, 82, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at 7:55 p.m. in Life Care Center of Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, with Brother Shaun Gray CSC officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
She was born July 29, 1943, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Hubert and Ann (Sobecki) Horner.
Surviving are her son, Derek Love of Runaway Bay sector of Bridgeport, Texas; and two grandchildren, Keaton Love and Abby Love; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John O'Brien; sister, Patricia Hunt; and half sister, Janet Horner.
She was the owner of Feminine Touch, an interior decorating, painting and wallpapering company where she worked very hard to create beautiful spaces for many people.

Sissy was always there for me. When my mother died she held my hand and got me through that time of my life. She was there for all of her cousins and extended family as a caring and loving person. God Bless her and her family in this time of need. Love you Sissy.
