Jasmine Glancy Obituary
Jasmine Lynn-Marie Glancy, 25, of Michigan City, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, 2022, in Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at noon at the Root Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Jasmine was born July 2, 1996, in Michigan City to Curtis Glancy Sr. and Lorry Zitt Glancy. They are both surviving, along with her stepmother who helped raise her, Jennifer Mahoney.
Also surviving is one daughter, Sierra LeVine Glancy; four siblings, Curtis Glancy Jr., Nichole Glancy, Robyn Jones and Coty Sobolewski; four special nieces, Lilly, Angel, Desiray and Angelina; two special nephews, Jedidiah and Levi; special friends, Donna and Linda; a very special aunt, Julie; special uncles and many extended family members and friends.
Preceding her in death are her grandpas, Dave and Lawrence; and grandmas, Beverly and Judith.
Jasmine worked at American Licorice and was taking online college courses.
She was a genuine person who could light up a room. She was a big-hearted, giving person who had a good soul and was always smiling. She was a ray of sunshine who loved all around her.
She attended Fairhaven Church and Full Gospel Church, and is now resting with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

I´m shocked to hear this. I seen your name pop up on fb and went to see how you were and I find this out. I knew jasmine since coolspring elementary. She was an amazing person even though we weren´t close friends. I´m sorry for her family and friends and daughter! She would´ve been a great mom! R.i.P. jasmine
